A jack of all trades and a master of none! I was born in England but have lived in Singapore, Japan and most recently in the beautiful land of Suomi. Currently I'm studying Education but my degree was actually in Mechanical Engineering. However my Masters is really just a distraction from my real passion, board games.

Personal info
Salut! I am Charlotte and am completing my Master’s Degree Program in Education. I grew up most of my life in Switzerland but I have multicultural origins. I consider myself as an ambivert: half-hyperactive, half-serene. Getting in contact with new people opens my mind. Sometimes I feel the urge to be surrounded by people, as if their energy played a fuel function for my 'mind-engine'; it makes it active. I am involved in IDESCO because I believe we ought to take advantage of this worldwide community here in Jyväskylä and explore its boundless richness. Seizing this one-off opportunity is a step we must take together! Apart from this, I love being in the nature, especially doing sports in the nature like hiking, climbing, skiing, and sailing. Being in the outdoors is another fuel for my "mind-engine". Reading, writing, dancing and cooking are fairly regular activities on my daily agenda and the most important one of all, is being happy :).

Personal info
Ni hao! My name is Kong Lingwang. The greeting means hello in Chinese. Currently I am a student of Master's Degree Program in Education. I am very honored to work in IDESCO as this is a very international organization with varied culture and people's characteristics. This is quite beneficial for my intercultural competence and social network. If you also want to join in such a diversity organization, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can send me a mail if you want to join our organization. In the mean while, we also have our own patches. The membership fee is only 3 euros and the patch is also 3 euros. What's more, if you want to have both of them, it only 5 euros.

Micaela Ramos
Web and Social Media Coordinator
Personal info
Hi, I am Micaela originally from Philippines where it is warm and sunny for most of the year. The snow, northern lights and the reputed Finnish education convinced me to move to Finland in 2013 as a master's degree student in International Business and Entrepreneurship. I joined IDESCO because I would like to give back to the international community of the University by helping international students connect their fellow students and the local community. If you would like to do the same thing and more, you are most welcome in IDESCO!
